Installation of 6 Workstations

Problem: Facility was due for a site-wite upgrade of desktop computers with dual-monitors setup.

Solution: Unbox and confirm device shipping. Decom existing workstations and install new devices only. No cabling upgrade required.

Confirm Parts Shipping

I retrieved new devices for install. First thing to do was to open each box and confirm all parts were received. Good to go!

Access Network Rack for Remote Install

Gained access to network room and cleared an area to work. Special attention was given to ensure no connectivity was lost.

Desktop Towers Placement

Towers were placed on adjacent shelf near switch.

Ethernet Connected Via User Tags

Each unit was assigned a unique user tag in order to receive correct staff member assignment. Multiple units were done simultaneously to expedite time.

Workstation 1 Success

Each staff member was able to successfully login and see desktop. All dual-monitor station orientations were confirmed.

Workstation 2 Success

Each staff member was able to successfully login and see desktop. All dual-monitor station orientations were confirmed.

Workstation 3 Success

Each staff member was able to successfully login and see desktop. All dual-monitor station orientations were confirmed.
